What it's for
Fire equipment signs show where firefighting equipment is kept, so it can be found quickly in an emergency and is kept clear of obstructions. Mount them above or beside the equipment at eye level.
This design follows the SANS 1186 symbolic safety sign format used in South African workplaces.
